What is a WOD?
WOD Stands for Workout of the Day. The WOD’s are constantly varied and posted on our sight for general use.
Do I need to be Fit?
Absolutely not! As with any sport, or training regime, you must start somewhere. CrossFit is universal in that all workouts can be scaled to suit your fitness level regardless of age, height, sex, or experience. We all had to start somewhere!
What if I don’t like working out?
We do try to make exercise more fun and rewarding than traditional workout routines. However if you do not like exercise in general than CrossFit is probably not for you. This is the best possible program to get in the best shape of your life, it is not a magic pill.
Do you have showers?
We do have 1 shower for our athletes use.
Do you have a children’s area?
We do have an area for children. Our play area has a TV with movies and DVD’s, toys, and a small picnic table. The area is gated allowing parents to check in on their kids. Children are now supervised during the evening classes only! Ages 6 months and up!
What do I need to bring?
Athletic clothing, a towel, a water bottle, and a great attitude!
Do I have to eat Paleo?
No absolutely not! Paleo is often associated with CrossFit but is in no way a requirement. We do believe in the health benefits of this life style, and are happy to share our knowledge about it. You are not required to follow any diet to join our community. For optimum results we do suggest clean eating.
What if I have a previous injury?
CrossFit is a fantastic way to rehabilitate from an injury or surgery, no matter the type or severity. The great thing about CrossFit workouts is they can be modified or scaled down to accommodate any fitness or ability level. If there is a movement you’re uncomfortable with, or that we as trainers feel you shouldn’t be doing, then there are a host of other things we can have you do and still get you a great workout. That’s what we as trainers are here for… to make sure you get the best possible workout within the realm of your ability level.
Will CrossFit make me look buff?
There is a common misconception that lifting weights will give women massive shoulders, legs, backs and arms. With CrossFit, you will have better tone and build lean muscle mass, but you won’t look like a body-builder.
How do I start?

Why is CrossFit so expensive?
The short answer is “it’s not.” The cost of other local gyms and health clubs don’t include personalized small group training. Huge “Globo-Gyms” offer cheap monthly memberships because they have hundreds of members who never actually use their facilities.
Our higher prices reflect our commitment to offering you the best personal fitness training experience. You are getting unlimited access to personal trainers who are actively involved in helping you accomplish your fitness goals. In an industry where people don’t think twice about shelling out $70-$100 per session for personal training, our prices for membership are a bargain! We believe you get far more with your monthly CrossFit membership than you ever would hiring a personal trainer.
Remember, we don’t just show you a machine and tell you to use it, we work with you to teach you new movements, focus on your specific goals and make sure that you are reaping the benefits of our program. We say give us one month, you have way more to gain than lose!
Skip your Applebees Dinner once a month and your all set!
Do I have to compete?
No, you can always do the workouts at your own pace, and your own weight. If you are interested in competitions talk to a coach about upcoming events.
Do you have a competition team?
No, any athletes are allowed to sign up for competitions around the area. These competitions, like CrossFit, are fun and encouraging. It is rewarding to push your body to get in the best shape of your life for these events!
Why is there a maximum per class?
We have a cap of 12 athletes per class to ensure safety and individualization. Generally this is not an issue and we can modify the class to accommodate extra athletes. To sign up for a class to reserve your space please click on the sign in/sign up tab.
Why don’t you post the WODs the night before?
Is your facility available to rent?
If you are interested in renting our facility certain hours for personal training, boxing classes, yoga, karate, gymnastics, tumbling and etc… please email us.
